From day one, you’ll play a lead role in bringing the vision to life and ensuring the venue is a success with both locals and the millions of tourists who visit Killarney each year.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Opening & Project DeliveryLead the venue through fit-out and setup—working closely with contractors, architects, and brand teamsEnsure full compliance with licensing, health & safety, and food service regulationsOversee all technical systems, including utilities, bar infrastructure, and IT/POSVendor & Team LeadershipRecruit and onboard 8 independent chef-operators working on a turnover-based modelHire, train, and motivate bar, coffee, and event staffBuild a strong, collaborative culture with a focus on customer experience and high standardsOperations & Commercial OversightManage daily service across all F&B and event operationsMonitor performance, margins, and vendor turnover to drive profitabilityLead inventory, stock control, and P&L reportingMarketing, Events & Brand PartnershipsActivate the event space with entertainment, bookings, and seasonal programmingCollaborate with marketing on social campaigns, merchandise, and brand storytellingBuild relationships with local tourism partners to attract cruise and coach toursRepresent the venue within the local community and wider hospitality sceneWho We’re Looking ForMust-Have Experience:5+ years in hospitality leadership—ideally in food halls, bars, or multi-vendor venuesProven experience in opening or significantly refurbishing a hospitality venueStrong vendor, people, and operational management skillsYou Bring:Outstanding leadership and communication abilityCommercial and operational acumen—strong with budgets, KPIs, and systems (POS, rotas, bookings)A creative, flexible mindset with a passion for customer experienceAn entrepreneurial spirit ready to build something unique and lastingNice to Have:A strong network of chefs, vendors, or hospitality talent in the SouthwestExperience with live events, bar programming, or branded activationsLocal insight into the tourism and food landscape of Killarney and KerryWhat’s on OfferA leadership role with ownership-level influenceThe chance to create one of Kerry’s next great social and culinary destinationsCompetitive base salary + bonus based on performance and revenue growthFull support from a highly engaged ownership group and marketing team
