We're working with a leading organisation to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist for a permanent role based in DublinThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where you'll play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end order management process. As a Supply Chain Specialist, your primary focus will be to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of products-from order placement through to final delivery-by collaborating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Accurately receive, review, and process customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Verify order details including pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and replenishment.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce stockouts and overstocking.
  • Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as backorders, substitutions, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders and delivery timelines.
  • Identify and drive process improvements within the order management function.
  • Develop initiatives to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3 years' experience in supply chain with a strong emphasis on order management, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient in ERP and order management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret trends and implement actionable insights.
