- Develop and implement project delivery frameworks, governance structures, and standardised processes to ensure efficient execution of major infrastructure projects across renewable energy, peatland rehabilitation, and public good initiatives.
- Drive consistency in project management methodologies, templates, and standards across the portfolio.
- Provide operational oversight to Program and Project Managers throughout all project phases, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Produce accurate and timely performance reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders and governance boards.
- Manage resource allocation across multiple projects, balancing internal and external capacity and prioritising strategic initiatives.
- Act as a key liaison between the PMO, project teams, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Lead and manage a team of project analysts, coordinators, and support staff, providing guidance, performance management, and workload prioritisation.
- Champion the development of project management capability across the organisation, offering mentoring, coaching, and training to build a strong delivery culture.
- Manage and deliver cross-functional business projects as required, ensuring they are scoped, resourced, and executed in line with organisational priorities.
- Promote and uphold best practice in risk management, governance, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline (Master’s degree advantageous).
- Minimum of 10 years’ project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior PMO or project management role within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects from planning through to execution.
- Familiarity with Irish regulatory, grid, and planning frameworks relevant to energy infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP) desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of project management principles and systems to deliver large-scale projects using a lean outsourced delivery model.
