In-House Legal Advisor (German speaking role)We are seeking a highly qualified In House Legal Advisor to join our client’s esteemed organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and guidance to various departments within the company, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while also supporting business objectives. The In House Legal Advisor will play a crucial role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, with a keen eye on mitigating risks and protecting the company's interests. This position requires an individual who is adept at identifying legal issues and recommending practical solutions that align with organizational goals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to implement effective legal strategies, conduct legal research, and assist in the development of policies and procedures. Ultimately, the In House Legal Advisor will serve as a trusted advisor, enhancing the company’s ability to navigate the dynamic legal landscape while fostering a culture of integrity and ethical business practices.Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of matters to different departments
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
  • Assist with dispute resolution and manage legal disputes
  • Develop and implement company policies in compliance with applicable laws
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed to address specific legal challenges
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor or barrister
  • Experience in both jurisdictions (Ireland and the UK)
  • Proficiency in German
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an in-house legal advisor or similar role
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, and compliance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
