My client is looking for an experienced Shift Manager to lead production operations within a high performing food manufacturing environment. You'll manage a shift team to meet KPIs across quality, safety, cost, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with all GMP and health & safety standards. This role also acts as support or cover for the Production Manager when required.Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate shift operations to meet production and quality targets

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and GMP standards

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement

Monitor costs and labour efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Maintenance, HR, Logistics)

Maintain systems and accurate shift reporting

Manage and support performance, training, and development of team members

Requirements

2+ years' supervisory or management experience in food manufacturing

Strong knowledge of GMP, health & safety, and quality standards

SAP/MES/SCADA experience desirable

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Shift Pattern & Compensation

7am-7pm / 7pm-7am - 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off (rotating)

10-15% annual performance bonus
