
Accounts and Admin Assistant

- To ensure that all duties are carried out in a correct, timely and cost-effective manner
- To ensure all shipments are sent in the most reliable and efficient manner and that the needs of other World Courier offices involved are considered
- Ensure customers receive the maximum in customer service and service quality.
- Ensure all guidelines i.e. transport, customs, quality etc. are adhered to in their daily duties
- Temperature monitor management / ColdStream – downloading temperature monitor results, uploading results
- Notification of arrivals – tracking inbound shipments, processing notification
- Communication – taking calls from drivers and assisting with queries, answering queries on Teams chats
- Assisting with cross-referencing invoices received from contractors
- Assisting TLs and OPS manager with creating ad-hoc databases
- Handling customer queries and escalating serious complaints to management.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting timely reports.
- Planning routes and preparing schedules, as well as tracking and reporting progress with shipments.
- Ad-hoc administration duties where required
- Experience working in an Accounts Payable / Administration team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel
- Organised and able to manage a busy workload
- Customer service experience
