We are looking for a talented web UI developer to work in the Counterparty Credit Risk Technology team in Dublin within the Global Markets environment.The developer should be interested in building cutting edge web UI solutions within one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest banks.This exciting role, based in our Dublin office, is well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in investment banking. The candidate will work in the Credit Risk Technology team and will be contributing to some of the most significant risk projects in the organisation. The successful candidate will work in a highly agile environment with a global team of colleagues in Ireland, the UK, India and the US.As a Web UI Developer your main responsibilities will involve:

Designing and developing web UI solutions to help solve complex business problems

Maintain the current set of reusable components.

Work closely with business users, business analysts and development colleagues to design best in class user experiences

Technical Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of UX and responsive UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability

Ability to write standard compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability and performance requirements, focusing on IE and Chrome

Solid mark-up skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3

Experience of the React JavaScript library

Highly skilled at front-end engineering using a modern client-side technology stack that include

CSS pre-processors (Sass/Less), Webpack

Experience with test and assertion libraries like Jest

Nice to have

Experience with Agile/Scrum

Strong written and oral communication skills

Requirements

BSc Degree/Masters or equivalent experience

Experience in banking/finance sector a plus
