
Operational Excellence Team Lead

- Ensure that G-LOC as a whole is fully behind the program and provides the necessary support.
- Supervise a team of people in the organization and delivery of their daily tasks.
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members and support the development of a team of people with a passion for excellence and pride in delivering an exceptional service.
- Design and implement a training and induction process to support new and experienced team members in upskilling and continuous knowledge development.
- Embrace and promote the use of the Learning platform, encouraging team members to take every opportunity to support their own development.
- Design what operational excellence means to G-LOC and what specific goals need to be achieved (productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, customer satisfaction, etc).
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field with 8-12 years' experience working in IT/Logistics Project Management.
- Possess Project Management skills in waterfall or agile methodologies and Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques.
- Have experience in a logistical working environment within Logistics and Transportation; demonstrable evidence of successful project delivery.
- Have experience in supervising a team with strong problem-solving skills.
- Are very organized and autonomous, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently as well as to take charge of and complete projects.
- Are a great communicator and facilitator comfortable working across organizational boundaries and managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Are able to travel globally when required, up to 20-40%.
