College Group was founded in 1989 and currently operates from three state-of-the-art sites; Nobber in County Meath and Monnery in County Cavan, with Newry in County Down. College Biofuels is a renewable energy company producing sustainable, environmentally friendly fuel for the transport and heating sectors.We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic General Operator to join the Biofuel's Team based in Nobber. This is a full time role will work as part of a team to run the biodiesel process and intake/dispatch of feedstocks and biodiesel. The shift range will vary and will be scheduled in advance, normally 9 or 12 hours.Key Responsibilities:
  • Running and monitoring process using PLC system in the control room
  • Following production plan
  • Taking samples to lab for analysis
  • Clearing lines/General house-keeping
  • Dispatching biodiesel in a timely manner, Off-loading feedstock to ensure supply available for production
  • Use of shunter - training will be provided.
Skills required:
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on own initiative,
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with ability to meet targets and project deadlines,
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of people,
  • Active / physical work
  • Positive attitude - reliable and strong work ethic.
