What you'll do: Lead and oversee daily operations of the cleaning (DOC) team on-site. Plan and manage staff schedules, ensuring full coverage during absences/holidays. Maintain all areas to high cleanliness standards and ensure audit readiness. Act as the main point of contact for all DOC-related issues. Monitor stock, equipment, and cleaning materials; report and resolve faults. Conduct team meetings, performance appraisals, training, and staff development. Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, COSHH, and site regulations. Report incidents, manage safety metrics, and implement corrective actions. Recruit, motivate, and support a multicultural team to deliver KPIs. What you'll bring: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with strong knowledge of GMP standards. Proven leadership and people management skills with experience supervising teams. Strong organisational, planning, and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. High attention to detail with a results-driven and proactive mindset. Ability to resolve problems safely, quickly, and effectively. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, COSHH, and safety procedures. Motivation to continuously improve standards and meet KPIs.
