Work Mode: Remote (with occasional on-call or shift support)Job SummaryWe are looking for a Production Engineer to support and maintain live production systems used by global customers. The role focuses on SQL Server databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS), system troubleshooting, and production support . You will work closely with customers, internal engineering teams, and operations to ensure system stability, performance, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide production and application support for live systemsManage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databasesTroubleshoot performance issues, database errors, and system outagesPerform database maintenance (backups, indexing, monitoring, recovery)Execute application patches, upgrades, and releases with minimal downtimePlan and perform data refreshes and database migrations across environmentsSupport cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, EBS, backups, monitoring)Analyze root causes of incidents and implement long-term fixesCommunicate clearly with customers and internal teams on issue statusDocument solutions, procedures, and best practicesRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, DBA, or Engineering SupportStrong hands-on experience with:Microsoft SQL Server & SQLDatabase performance tuning and troubleshootingWindows and/or Linux environmentsExperience with:Patching, upgrades, and migrationsCloud platforms, preferably AWSStrong problem-solving and communication skillsNice to HaveExperience in telecom OSS/BSS systemsKnowledge of Python, Docker, or MicroStrategyAWS, Microsoft, or SQL certificationsExperience working with global customers and 24×7 systemsWhy Join Us?Work remotely with a global team Shifts 8 AM to 5PM (Flexible to
