We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Laser and Dermatology Nurse to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will provide support in the delivery of medical and cosmetic dermatology services, perform a variety of advanced skin and laser treatments, and ensure optimal patient care under the supervision of our consultant dermatologists.Primary DutiesKey Responsibilities:
- Conduct laser treatments for hair removal, pigmentation, vascular lesions, acne, and skin rejuvenation.
- Assist with minor dermatological procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.
- Support the implementation of medical treatment plans for conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care and education to patients.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with GDPR and medical standards.
- Operate and maintain medical and laser devices in line with safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor patient outcomes and report concerns to the supervising dermatologist.
- Participate in audits, training, and continuing professional development.
- Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in dermatology, aesthetics, or laser therapy.
- Certified in the use of medical-grade lasers (e.g., Cutera, Candela, Lumenis).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence
- Passion for skincare and ongoing learning in dermatology and aesthetics.
- Desirable:
- Experience in a private dermatology or aesthetics clinic.
- Additional qualifications in dermatology or aesthetic nursing.
- Familiarity with EMR (electronic medical records) systems.
