Network Operations EngineerLocation: Dublin City Centre- on-siteType: 2 years contractRate per shift: €250Shift Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off (includes weekends)

1st shift for two days: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
2nd shift for two nights: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Role Overview: As a Network Operations Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the network infrastructure. Your responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving issues, and implementing upgrades to optimise operations.Key Responsibilities:

Monitor network systems for optimal performance.
Respond to alerts and incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks and implement upgrades.
Collaborate with teams to expand network capabilities.
Document configurations and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Previous experience in network operations, particularly with Cisco Routers and switches.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
CCNA certification is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
