Trade counter sales & warehouse Vacancy Athlone

• Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure maximum level of sales and margin.
• Offer alternative products, up-sell where possible, promote own brands and cross brand sales.
• Stay updated with product knowledge and branch costs and targets.
• Taking orders and preparing them.
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including goods in and goods out.
• Involvement in all aspects of the business on site.
• Any other duties as required.

• Electrical wholesale experience and electrical product knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience working in a busy warehouse.

• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to deal professionally and courteously with customers and colleagues face-to-face and by phone.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, able to plan workloads, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; willing to support colleagues and contribute to a positive branch culture.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritise effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• IT literate, comfortable using email and standard business systems (e.g., order processing/stock control).
• Full, clean Irish driving licence and willingness to complete deliveries when required.
• Forklift licence and experience operating MHE (desirable).
