FRS are partnering with an established Irish business operating for over 30 years’ within the Retail Industry. With expansion over the years into other areas they have remained focused on the loyal and local approach with customer service at the heart of everything they do.Reporting to the Head of Finance you will play a key role in the management of the day-to-day finance for multiple retail outlets.Responsibilities:

Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable
Management of rebates and credits with suppliers
Oversee and provide backup for Payroll
Weekly & monthly financial reporting for various outlets
Accurate preparation of financial statements and reporting for management
Maintain a rigorous financial control and reporting system
Ensure all relevant data is provided from retail outlets in a timely manner
Balance Sheet maintenance
Inventory Control and reconciliation of purchases and till systems
Assist with Budgeting & Audit Preparation
Ensure all relevant Statutory & Revenue Returns are completed within deadlines
Continuous review of processes and best practice to ensure smooth and efficient running of the finance division
Adhoc reporting as required by management for business operations

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Accountancy Qualification or working towards same with relevant practical experience
Strong interpersonal & organisational skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines with accuracy
