Working with Private Equity backed FMCG Company with turnover 160 million and 100 employees who are looking for a Head of Finance. This role reports into the Managing Director and will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, overseeing all financial reporting and statutory compliance. This role would suit someone who can provide high-level finance insights while ensuring the fundamental accounting engine runs flawlessly. Other responsibilities include:

Lead the financial reporting function, overseeing the full month?end close to deliver accurate, timely reporting
Produce performance and variance analysis, offering strategic insights to support data?driven decision?making
Manage the consolidation of US sites
Oversee balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance and internal controls
Design, enhance and standardise processes, driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement
Line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants and coordinate the wider team
Support annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
Support statutory year?end audits

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience leading a management accounts team
Someone has worked in fast paced in environment like a private equity backed company
