THE ROLEAn exciting opportunity for a Senior Store Supervisor has come up in our Dungarvan Born store. We are looking for someone who loves fashion and is used to working in a fast-paced retail environment.Our ideal Supervisor will have the ability to delegate effectively, manage a team, and work well under pressure.You will be responsible for opening and closing the store. Your duties include cash handling and operational procedures, assisting and training staff, providing excellent customer service, supervising the team in managers absence and assisting Store Manager in the day to day running of the store.Further responsibilities are outlined below:PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service
  • Delivering sales, outstanding customer experience, and operational expectations
  • Connects with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess needs
  • Ability to learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs
  • Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product / trends
  • Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment
What are we looking for?
  • 2 years experience in a retail environment
  • Experience managing a team effectively
  • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
  • Motivated- can use own initiative and motivate the team
  • Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
  • Flexible availability – must be available weekdays and weekends
