Job Overview:You must have an EU or UK passport or legal right to work in Ireland. We are hiring all types of mechanics – Automotive, HGV, Bus, and Industrial. Experience in mechanical and electrical diagnostics, servicing, and repairs is essential. Motor Mechanics with Electric Vehicle (EV) and Hybrid system experience are especially in demand due to increasing fleet electrification. You’ll be working with modern equipment, performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicle types and brands.Key Responsibilities (Dependent on Sector):
Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs across different vehicle types
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
Work on engines, brakes, suspensions, exhausts, transmissions, and more
Service and troubleshoot EV and Hybrid systems (if qualified)
Heavy industrial machines in mines and quarries
Conduct safety inspections and maintain service records
Perform quality control and ensure compliance with safety standards
Adapt to new technologies and a variety of vehicle systems
Qualifications & Skills:
Recognised trade qualification as a Mechanic (Automotive, HGV, Bus, or Industrial)
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
EV and Hybrid training or experience highly desirable for Motor Mechanics
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Industrial Machinery especially in mining or quarry
Intermediate English (B1/B2 minimum)
Valid driving license (C/CE a plus for HGV roles)
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are an advantage (can be completed in Ireland)
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: €40,000 – €48,000 per year depending on experience
