- This role will be responsible for running multiple IT projects spanning Infrastructure, Security and Application implementation.
- Support Trinseo’s usage of Planview, our project and portfolio management tool
- Demonstrate the ability to manage concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
- Lead and drive project teams to accurately develop and implement IT projects
- Maintain risk, actions, issue and decisions logs and actively manage resolutions.
- Understand risk management and escalation requirements.
- Educate stakeholders around effective usage of the PPM tool and ensure information is recorded completely and accurately. Information should be relevant and accurate to support effective decision-making by stakeholders (including senior management).
- Supporting and improving overall governance: ensuring that communication to stakeholders (including senior management) and decisions are taken by the right people, based on the right information presented. Correct processes are followed to initiate, approve and run a project
- Delivery support: making it easy for project teams to do their jobs by reducing bureaucracy, providing training, mentoring and quality assurance.
- Supports overall risk management to identify themes of risks and issues across and within projects
- Facilitate dependency management across the projects and programs and effectively reports these to management
- Providing guidance to project teams around IT management processes that already exist and functioning as a central point for lessons learned templates and best practice.
- Mentor other project members who may not have experience with IT projects.
- Responsible for tools, standards and methodology and for recommendations around tools and technology to streamline processes
- Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of project & program management best practices
- Deep skills in business process management
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in leading and successfully driving organizational change.
- Individual will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills who is comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Knowledge of project management techniques
- Demonstrates hands-on knowledge of Software development SDLC methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile)
- Manages ambiguity well. Has a global outlook and develops local expertise while operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
- Demonstrates strong listening, communications, alliance-building, negotiation, conflict management and influencing skills
- Strong enterprise business acumen
