- General knowledge of basic mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks across the estate.
- Addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently using the hotel’s Maintenance App.
- Ensuring hotel premises, including guest rooms, are always in excellent working condition.
- Respond to maintenance request and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Implementing preventative maintenance plans.
- Keeping maintenance stores clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Recording daily work using maintenance software.
- Working every third weekend as part of the maintenance rota.
- Attending to HVAC-related tasks and general facility repairs.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role.
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
- A team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Previous experience in hospitality or a high-standard service environment
