- You will gather & evaluate user requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Research & diagnose business problems /solutions e.g. usability issues.
- You will illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows & sitemaps for internal work.
- You will communicate the story the data tells by providing insight in a clear & compelling manner.
- You will design low fidelity & high-fidelity designs.
- User Validation verifying that the proposed solution is suitable based on end user requirements.
- You will design & optimise graphic UI elements & design systems, including menus, tabs, page navigation, buttons, search fields, widgets & forms.
- You will develop mock-ups & prototypes illustrating site format & functionality using user experience methodologies.
- You will create original graphic designs and flows (e.g. images, sketches, and tables).
- You will identify and troubleshoot UI & UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to company brand guidelines & style standards on fonts, colours & images.
- Consult with project stakeholders on best practice.
- 5+ years of experience in UX Design
- Portfolio of design projects (essential)
- Experience in taking research, wireframes, components, & other UI elements from inception to developer handover.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools, design software & prototyping functionality within software such as Figma, Sketch & Adobe CC.
- Experience of designing responsive solutions ranging from desktop to mobile.
- Experience of working in Agile teams and working collaboratively with product owners, Agile/SCRUM leads, developers, and testers.
- Understanding of UX Design process methodologies.
- Expert in Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch or Invision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills, with the ability to handle & prioritise multiple tasks & projects.
- Detail oriented and customer-centred problem solver.
- Expertise in whiteboarding/brainstorming tools, e.g. Miro, MS whiteboard.
- Ideally knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.0,2.1)
- Experience of working in Agile teams and working collaboratively with product owners, Agile/SCRUM leads, developers, and testers.
- Understanding of UX Design process methodologies.
- Expert in Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch or Invision.
