- Conduct market research to identify potential clients in the agricultural sector.
- Engage with farm owners to promote the benefits of solar PV installations.
- Build long-term relationships with farmers, agri co-ops, and industry stakeholders.
- Carry out site visits, assess energy usage, and present tailored renewable energy solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations highlighting cost savings, ROI, and long-term benefits.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate project planning and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on agricultural trends, renewable energy policies, and grant schemes.
- Provide post-sales support and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Work with marketing to create campaigns and materials promoting renewable energy solutions.
- Strong knowledge of farming operations through direct experience or agri-sales.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and grant schemes (desirable).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and financial analysis (advantage).
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Passion for sustainability and helping farmers transition to renewable energy.
