DutiesCivil and Construction Works in the Energy Sector. You will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for the monitoring of diverse aspects of each construction projects. This will include planning, coordination, and supervision of on-site activities. You will ensure all aspects of the project align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards and construction regulations.Location:Head Office (Sligo) and Regional Office (Maynooth), site visits and on Site when required.About UsKilcawley Construction are a family-owned business, based in the north-west of Ireland, with our head office in Sligo and regional office in Maynooth. We take our business seriously and our philosophy of “Excellence in Construction” is intrinsic to how we approach each and every project.Responsibilities:General· Ensure compliance with Kilcawley Construction Quality Management System & ISO 9001· Ensure Compliance with Kilcawley Construction Environmental & Health and Safety Management System & OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001· On Site Setting Out and As-builts· Material SubmittalsSite Based:The candidate will be an integral part of the Project Management Team and assigned responsibilities with the support and mentoring of the project team.In house training and experience will be provided including on the company’s Health & Safety Systems and Procore Project Management system.Office Based: (Head Office Sligo) and Regional Office (Maynooth).The candidate will be an integral part of the Engineering/Quantity Surveying & Estimating Teams and assigned responsibilities with the support and mentoring of creating submittals and O & M Files.In house training and experience will be provided including on the company’s Procore Project Management system and cost control systems.Your Main Duties· Interacting and communicating with project team members, clients and other internal/external parties to ensure co-ordination of activities.· Liaise with Site Teams and Management as appropriate.· Demonstrate an understanding of scope of work assigned.· Demonstrate an understanding of commercial aspects (hours and capital cost) of your work.· Uses initiative in problem solving and can make decisions under direction of others.· Demonstrate knowledge of Kilcawley Construction and/or industry standard methodologies and tools· Preparation of technical documents in accordance with agreed schedules and report progress in a timely fashion to avoid any undue delays.· Carry out site visits/site surveys and site record keeping.· Keeping up to date of current technology, regulatory (including Environment, Health & Safety) and industry standards with your discipline.· Assist QS with site quantities and measures for monthly valuations.· Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers’ defined requirements.· Ensure the site diary is accurately maintained using our Procore System noting against each record the date, location and serial number of equipment used.What We Require· BSc Civil Engineering or BSc Project Management Degree· Proficient in the use of engineering software· Relevant experience in related industry· Computer literate with good experience of MS Word and Excel and Autocad· A Passion for Delivering Projects to The Highest Health, Safety & Quality Environmental (HSE) standards in the industry.· Proven Leadership Skills incorporating Personal Time Management· Ability to Work Independently as Required· Travel Flexibility to meet Project Requirements.What's in it for you?
