General Retail Manager – Co. ClareExcel Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and highly driven Supermarket Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-profile Supermarket in Clare.This role offers significant autonomy, a wonderful and hardworking team to support you, and an exceptional package available for the right candidate.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Supermarket store alongside the existing management team
  • Drive sales growth, improve margins, and maintain high operational and brand standards
  • Control costs and expenses while maximising store profitability
  • Identify and develop opportunities for business expansion, including a convenience store
  • Lead, motivate, train, and retain staff, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and compliance with company standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 year’s senior management experience in a grocery retail store
  • Proven track record of driving sales, margins, and cost efficiencies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on training and staff retention
  • Highly hands-on, operationally focused, and commercially minded
  • Flexible approach to working hours to suit business and market demands
