This is a site based position.The Energy Officer will work with the systems currently in place and also formulate ways to improve efficiency on site.Water conversation is a focus for this role, as Energy Officer you will be responsible for monitoring and report regularly on usage, and again introduce ways in which we can become more efficient.Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate Energy Leadership across the site
Instill a culture where energy efficiency is a key site deliverable
Manage a 5 year plan aligned to Group Origin Green and SBTI targets
Manage the site Energy Maps.
Optimise output from Energy Mapping Syste m (EMS.)
Manage weekly site energy management meeting including data presentation
Represent the midlands region on monthly site manager energy meetings
Deliver continuous incremental improvement in energy consumption
Maintain site electricity and water saving opportunity registers
Deliver water and energy reduction projects
Manage Significant Energy Uses (SEU's)

Requirements

A degree or qualification / training in Environmental Science /Energy or similar.
Analytical and investigative skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Project management skills
Computer skills including MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to interact well with management peers
Expertise in SEU operations
Core KPIs

Water use target per Kilo processed
Electricity use per kilo processed
Fossil fuel use per kilo processed
Successful improvement project completion
