This role is based on site with one of our biopharmaceutical clients based in West Dublin.The Process Safety Engineer will work as part of a team responsible for driving on site Process Safety initiatives and support of site operations, maintenance, projects and engineering to help improve Process Safety performance.:

Managing updates to the site safety report under the COMAH regulations
Chemical Reaction Hazards Evaluation
Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) reviews
HAC / EPD / ATEX
Safety Risk Assessments, Safety Management Systems
Trouble shoot process safety issues
Assist with operational readiness plans, safety audits and continuously improve the Site Safety Management Systems
Review and approval of process safety related documentation, including process HAZOPS and other related safety and engineering assessments
Support site investigations, identifying root cause and measures to prevent recurrence
PSSR
Process Safety Calculations
Process Hazard Analysis
Safety Report Preparation
Safety Inspections, walk downs
Review safety change controls

Degree in Process/Chemical engineering (or equivalent)
8 years plus relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry or equivalent.
Formal qualification in Process Safety a big advantage
Excellent awareness of process safety engineering and process safety management
Have good safety experience
Experience with API or ChemicalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
