- You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project programmes using planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- You will prepare cost and resource loaded programmes for forecasting and monitoring, and provide progress reports and dashboards to project teams.
- You will work closely with both external and internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and constraints, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Support the preparation of cost and resource loaded programmes for forecasting and monitoring.
- Understand and apply the requirements of the NEC suite of contracts related to scheduling and programme updates.
- Generate progress reports, forecasts, and dashboards for clients and management.
- Prepare and deliver clear presentations and briefings of programme scenarios, risks, and impacts to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Maintenance and Management of Baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
- Lead/chair meetings and workshops to challenge the progress and performance of projects.
- Support the client and project management teams in risk management, early warning notifications, compensation event assessments, and other NEC processes.
- Manage the contract requirements for the schedules.
- Support Discipline Leads to maintain schedules and their interfaces.
- Identify scheduling risks and constraints and collaborate with team members to mitigate delays.
- Provide advanced hierarchical reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Knowledge of Integration of function corelating Schedule, Cost and Risk.
- Provide Critical Path evaluation and scenario planning options to mitigate issues and improve efficiencies. Conduct expert analysis on scheduling and programming.
- Proficient in various types of delay analysis techniques.
- Carry-out Industry‑standard schedule quality assessments
- Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Practical experience using/Competent user Familiarity with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Basic understanding of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
- Familiarity with other Irish Forms of Contracts such as GCC and FIDIC.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or large scale construction projects.
- Rail experience (not essential but desirable).
- Experience on client-side environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
