Job DescriptionArchitectural Technologist - Co MayoWe are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in County Mayo, supporting the design and delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations, and coordinating with all relevant stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes in both new-build and refurbishment residential developments.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).Develop practical technical solutions that translate residential design concepts into buildable plans.Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.Prepare and submit planning applications and building control documentation in line with Irish regulations.Conduct site visits across County Mayo and surrounding areas to carry out surveys, inspections, and support construction teams.Ensure full compliance with Irish Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and local planning policies.Manage technical documentation and project timelines to support successful project delivery.Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.Strong understanding of Irish residential construction methods, materials, and detailing.Working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, Part L compliance, and planning policy frameworks.Excellent technical drawing and specification writing skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate with external teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.For further information please contact Thomas in Brightpath RecruitmentINDTW
