About The School Food Company and it's sister Companies:We have been in operation since 2011.Our ethos is simple – to help children and young people to make healthier food choices by making healthy food available in schools.We make it easy for kids to have access to healthy and delicious food at school – with zero cost or hassle to the school.We operate nationally throughout Ireland in Primary and Secondary schools.We install kitchens/canteens in our schools and provide an onsite food service.We are currently recruiting for a Catering Supervisor, full time and part time Catering Assistants in Gaelscoil Thulach na nÓg, Dunboyne, Co Meath. This position will commence in September.Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is subject to Garda Vetting.
  • The position of Supervisor is approx 28-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Shift time approx 8.00am - 2.30pm
  • The position of full time Catering assistant is approx 28-30 hours Monday to Friday. Shift time approx 8.00am/8.30am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business.
  • The position of part time Catering assistant is approx 10-18 hours per week operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation. Shift time approx 8.30am/9.00am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business.
These roles involves the preparation hot lunches fresh onsite, delivery of these to the classroom, and clean down.Additional Supervisory duties: Rostering, placing orders with food service providers, and reporting are also a part of the role.Strong time management, people management and organisational skills are a must as operating to strict break times.Previous catering and Supervisory experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential.
