Job Description:OverviewApplications are invited for the specified purpose position of IT Controls Senior Analyst within the IT team based in Carrigaline, Cork reporting to the Information Security Associate Manager.The primary responsibility of the IT Controls Senior Analyst will be in the IT controls and compliance area with duties including managing the application risk assessment and associated remediation efforts, governance of application controls, process owner for application security controls with the responsibility of approving and reporting control results on a quarterly basis. The controls are primarily in the System Security space, including Identity and Access Management related controls (e.g. User Access, Recertification, Terminated Users). The role will require participation in security audits and involves collaboration with business and controls teams. The individual will manage a small team.This is a Specified Purpose Contract role for up to 12 months.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the application risk assessments on an annual basis for existing applications and on an ad hoc basis for new applications.
  • Manage the remediation efforts resulting from the risk assessment outputs and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure the remediation efforts are resolved or mitigated.
  • Govern the design, implementation, and documentation of new controls.
  • Process owner for complex local non-sox controls.
  • Manage the execution of daily/weekly/monthly controls.
  • Reporting controls on a quarterly and annual basis to IT & Business senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with business controls, technical and functional IT teams to execute. against remediation and improvement plans.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Manage resolution to audit findings.
  • Governance of control documentation.
  • Supporting the business controls team with reporting and analysis for weekly/monthly business controls review.
  • Collaborating with local, sector and global teams in the identification and documentation of IT risks, processes, and controls.
Qualifications
  • IT/BIS qualification desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of business & IT controls
  • Audit experience desirable
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Security
