- Advanced knowledge of circuit theory and analog design
- Experience of High Voltage analog design
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor physics
- Ability to manage full device development flow including first feasibility study, schedule and project management
- Ability to focus the key functionality device parameters and create test benches for analog mixed signal (AMS) systems using, schematic, behavioural models and Verilog/RTL
- Ensuring design robustness
- Supervise layout and agree requirements to prevent ESD/latch up issues, minimize voltage drop of supply routing, minimize noise coupling, satisfy electromigration constraints, in order to ensure high quality of physical implementation
- Lab evaluation of silicon including design of evaluation hardware, testing methods for the characterization of function and performance.
- Work with production test engineering to support and debug production test issues
- Support application engineers in evaluation of device with respect to the final customer needs
- Work closely with digital designers to share system level needs, agree desired behaviour and check delivered digital solutions
- Leading design review of products and keep online documentation approach to ensure good communication over team members, key decisions sharing, track changes and quality of final results
- Clearly communicate project status to senior management
- BSEE + 8 years of relevant work experience (or MSEE + 5 year).
- Be able to demonstrate leadership or key roles in multiple integrated designs that have been introduced to the market.
- Ability to travel globally to collaborate with other Analog Devices sites (up to 10% of the time).
- Design experience on integrated DC-DC switching power such as Buck, Boost converters.
- Good communication and hands-on mentorship skills.
- Design developments of DC-DC switching power IC devices
- Design developments on High Voltage protection IC devices
- Proficiency with Cadence analog design environment, including schematic entry, analog and mixed-signal simulation
- Proficiency with other EDA tools targeted to mixed signal or digital design flows
- Automotive-Specific Design Experience with a focus on Quality, Reliability, and Safety (ASIL-D)
- Behavioural modelling of analog circuits and analog mixed signal (AMS) verification techniques
- Knowledge of software tools useful for top-down design approach like Simplis, Simulink, Mathcad, Matlab
