- You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy supermarket, leading, motivating, and developing a large team of approximately 70-80 staff across management and colleague levels
- You will manage and drive weekly store sales typically in the region of €250k-€300k, ensuring strong control over margins, costs, and overall profitability
- The role involves maintaining high standards across customer service, merchandising, stock control, and store presentation, while ensuring smooth daily operations
- You will oversee recruitment, training, and performance management, building a strong, engaged, and high-performing team
- Working closely with senior management, you will analyse KPIs, sales data, and reports to identify opportunities for improvement and implement clear, effective action plans
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety legislation, HACCP, and company policies will be a key part of the role, alongside fostering a positive and professional store culture
- This role would suit someone with proven experience as a Supermarket Store Manager or in a senior management position within a supermarket or large convenience retail environment
- You’ll bring a strong track record of managing large teams and overseeing high weekly sales volumes €250k
- A commercially driven mindset, strong leadership capability, and the ability to perform confidently in a fast-paced, high-pressure retail setting are essential
- Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skills will be key to success in this role
