A Dublin based investment firm are looking for a head of compliance to join their team. The role reports to the CEO with a separate reporting line to the board. The company has a strong compliance-first culture, and a very flexible environment in terms of work life balance. This position will hold the PCF for both compliance and AML.Main responsibilities of the head of compliance:

Drive a strong compliance culture throughout the firm
Roll out the compliance plan and monitoring programme
Conduct the annual compliance risk assessment
Conduct the annual review/update of the firms existing policies and procedures
Monitor upstream regulatory developments and trends
Lead regulatory development projects
Be the point of contact with the Central Bank of Ireland
Track and collate regulatory reporting
Regulatory submissions, e.g. Extension of services or Fitness and Probity submissions
Design and implement compliance training programme
Advise CEO on regulatory change and risks
Prepare formal updates and present to the board
Produce MI for presentation to key stakeholders

As an ideal candidate for the role, you will have senior compliance experience as required to pass the CBI's PCF 12 approval process. You will have good working knowledge of MiFID.
