- Define the vision and roadmap for mortgage products in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of new and existing products.
- Work closely with IT delivery partners to align product features with technical capabilities.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and are delivered in line with organisational values and capabilities.
- Oversee the rollout of new products and services, advising on features, attributes, and market positioning.
- Lead the development of a strong national mortgage brand aligned with organisational values and mission.
- Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy across all relevant channels.
- Manage third-party suppliers and marketing partners, ensuring delivery within budget and timelines.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and marketing collateral.
- Oversee PR activities in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Drive internal engagement and adoption of products across the organisation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product and marketing decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development and promotional activity.
- Report regularly to the CEO on marketing performance, business development activity, and budget utilisation.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a product and/or marketing leadership role, ideally within financial services.
- Third-level qualification in marketing, business, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of:
- The Irish mortgage market and product structures
- Regulatory requirements relating to mortgage products
- Proven experience in product management and marketing leadership
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience managing external agencies and partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders while maintaining strategic focus
- Direct reporting line to the CEO
- Responsibility for regular reporting on marketing activity, product performance, and business development
- Accountability for effective use of marketing and promotional budgets
- Support business development initiatives in collaboration with the CEO and key stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of new product features and innovations aligned with market needs
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably required by the CEO
