- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance across the site.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant and equipment as needed.
- Conduct diagnostics and basic programming on equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Schneider).
- Support and maintain facilities equipment such as HVAC, compressed air systems, and refrigeration.
- Execute preventative maintenance programs and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or modifications.
- Workshop tasks such as grinding and drilling.
- Work with various pipe systems - flanged, screwed, and welded.
- Service pumps and motors, including seal changes and general repairs.
- Carry out electrical and automation tasks - installations, troubleshooting, earth checks.
- Perform instrumentation tasks - including calibration.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately documented.
- Relevant trade qualification (Electrician, Fitter, or Engineering Degree)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical or food industry)
- Experience in motor control systems, pneumatics, temperature control, and safety systems
- Proficiency in computer-based systems (email, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Solid awareness and understanding of Quality and Health, Environmental and Safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Calibration experience
- Experience working in ATEX environments
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
