This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security solutions, with a strong emphasis on Ping Identity and cloud-based authentication.You will act as a senior technical resource, working across engineering and development teams to deliver secure, scalable systems while supporting key security initiatives across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Participate in requirements gathering and story refinementDesign and implement secure IAM and systems engineering solutionsSupport deployment strategies across network, virtualization, and data centre environmentsIntegrate and manage security systems in line with defined acceptance criteriaCollaborate with development teams to deliver secure system designs and requirementsWork with large and complex datasets to meet security and compliance needsBuild and enhance processes for system transformation, quality control, and workload managementDevelop and maintain deployment pipelines to improve delivery and security outcomesExecute and analyse integration, regression, and performance testingTroubleshoot and resolve security and system issues, identifying root causesProduce clear documentation for deployment, maintenance, and supportIdentify gaps in security standards and work with stakeholders to remediateProvide technical leadership and contribute to security-focused initiativesRequired Experience & Skills:7+ years' experience in IT Security, IAM, or related fieldsStrong experience with SSO technologies: OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, FIDOHands-on expertise with Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess preferred)Experience designing and implementing Ping policies and custom IAM solutionsStrong knowledge of Cloud IAM (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience integrating and federating cloud applications using PingFederateExperience with identity synchronisation (PingIDM / SCIM)Strong development experience with Java / J2EEKnowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, MFA, risk-based authentication, and PAMBroad understanding of IAM including authentication, authorisation, and security architectureExperience with web technologies (HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript)Strong experience across Linux and Windows environments (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere)Scripting/programming skills (Python, Java, Shell, PowerShell, etc.)Understanding of REST APIs and modern application integration patternsExperience delivering large-scale, enterprise or global security projectsGood understanding of security and risk management practicesSoft Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teamsLeadership mindset with the ability to influence without direct authorityProactive and solution-oriented approachStrong willingness to learn and adaptExperience Required:5-7+ years in IT Security Engineering or IAM-focused roles
