Further information on SK pharmteco can be found atCurrent NeedSK pharmteco Ireland in partnership with CPL are seeking to recruit a Project Engineer on a 12 month contract to join the Engineering Department, reporting to the Project Manager.Overview:We have a key Capital project (Small Molecule API project) being completed over the next few monthsThe role will involve providing project engineering/management support for this key site-based capital project - through resolution of design queries, construction completion, commissioning, qualification and handover.The role will primarily involve construction & CQV co-ordination, project schedule management, project resource and contractor management, equipment CQV, interfacing with Maintenance, EHS, Quality and Operations Depts.Responsibilities will include:

Construction Turnover Test Pack Reviews & Closure to enable transition to CQV

Supporting capital project through final construction, CQV & and close-out.

Support construction, commissioning and qualification, project schedule.

Help maintain a strong safety culture and performance in the implementation of capital projects.

Help ensure successful delivery of project which meet business needs.

Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Identify effective & innovative resolution for any issues identified during Commissioning in order to meet project client / end user requirements.

Support the delivery of the project to meets all regulatory requirements including safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Ensure that equipment qualification activities are completed in line with local procedures, cGMP and best practices.

Generate and maintain (as required) project schedules to plan and track project activities for construction completion & CQV of the project

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates should hold at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Instrumentation or Electrical) and at least 5 years project engineering experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent communication and organisational skills with demonstrated capability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation is required.

Preferably experience at an API manufacturing site (e.g. experience with piping systems, drying systems, reactors, Filter Dryers, vacuum, heat/cooling systems etc)
