- Monitor the status of client samples, ensuring clients are kept informed of sample status and turnaround times, while clearly communicating client requirements to laboratory teams
- Review and audit sample paperwork at defined stages to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Create and amend LIMS builds to support operational activities
- Manage laboratory consumables, including stock taking and ordering
- Support and participate in client conference calls, visits, and audits
- Attend meetings with technical and cross-functional groups as required
- Record and document all client interactions in the project log/database
- Prepare and provide account, activity, and performance reports as required (locally or globally)
- Review data in line with relevant regulatory standards, analytical procedures, and documentation requirements
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance quality and client service, and supporting the implementation of improvement actions with management
- Carry out additional tasks and duties as required to support the role and department
- Participate in the company on-call / call-out rota
- Experience as a LIMS / ERP system user (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of GMP analytical services, including pharmaceutical chemistry and routine QC testing, is an advantage
- Strong teamworking ability.
- Proven ability to engage cross-functionally and involve management when required
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external networks
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, including documentation control and system maintenance (LIMS)
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to understand client requirements and work with operations and business development teams to identify and communicate appropriate solutions
