The candidate must be a Chartered Engineer and should have extensive experience in planning and design of major transport projects, ideally including giving evidence at Oral Hearing for EIAR and CPO. The candidate will join their busy transportation team in Ireland, based in the Cork office, with flexible hybrid working available.The role will involve team building and leadership, mentoring staff, managing planning and design of transport projects throughout Ireland, delivering EIAR and CPO, and preparing and administering construction contracts.The candidate will also be involved in business development activity, including managing client relationships, gathering market intelligence and leading bid proposals for major transport projects.Qualifications:Extensive relevant experience in a consultancy environment.Educated to degree level (Level 8/9).Chartered Engineer.Computer literate and able to work efficiently with Microsoft Office.Knowledgeable of relevant design standards and with the ability to transfer this knowledge into practical, buildable and value for money designs.Experience of NEC and Irish Public Works ContractsExperience of design and build projects.Experience in planning and design of transport schemes in Ireland, including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, statutory processes, procurement processes, contract administration and construction supervision.Full Irish / EU driving licence.Package:105k - 110k package negotiable based on experienceHybrid workingFlexitimePensionHealth InsuranceTravel allowanceAnnual BonusContact:Andrew Taylor is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Civil Engineer and interested roles based in Ireland.
