itContracting are currently seeking applicants for a Security & Networks Manager. This is a permanent position located with our client in Dublin. This is a hybrid role, requiring some occasional travel to the Clare region.As the Domain Manager for Networks & Security, you’ll be at the forefront of planning, developing, implementing, and managing the Network & Security systems. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Technical Services division. This person will operate within a highly regulated sector.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant national and international standards in all Network & Security services.
  • Oversee safety and performance monitoring, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Provide secure and cost-effective Network & Security infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain safety and security policies.
  • Monitor and improve Network & Security systems performance.
  • Research and analyse international developments to enhance service delivery.
  • Evaluate and optimise network infrastructure.
  • Manage financial targets, including operational and capital expenditure.
  • Develop training specifications and identify staff training needs.
  • Oversee cybersecurity for all systems.
  • Represent Technical Services in relevant forums.
Requirements:
Essential:
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Technical Networks or Security.
  • Minimum five years’ senior management experience in a regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of Networking and Telecommunication industries.
  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge of Security Frameworks and Management Systems.
  • Understanding of national and international regulatory frameworks relevant to the aerospace industry.
