- Chartered Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the Irish/UK water sector, specializing in designing and constructing water services projects.
- Experience in a wide range of municipal water services projects, including networks, pumping stations, and treatment plants, across different project life cycles.
- Client-facing experience, comfortable leading projects, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership experience, including leading teams and developing junior staff.
- Competence in project finances and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of various contract types (FIDIC, NEC, Public Works, Irish Water) and experience in Contract Administration.
- Understanding of safety and health regulations related to the design process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
- Lead project teams to deliver projects within agreed scope, timeframes, and budgets.
- Check design deliverables/outputs for accuracy and compliance.
- Set and maintain standards for technical quality to ensure designs meet client specifications.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to less experienced project managers, engineers, or technicians.
- Lead team development and performance to ensure effective collaboration.
- Manage project financial performance.
- Lead or support tendering procedures and compile tender proposals.
