- Ideally 5 years' experience in book-keeping and office administration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and stay highly organised
- Abiity to work as part of a small team setting
- Managing bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Processing payments and keeping records up to date
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Bank Payments and Reconciliations
- Reconciling accounts and managing invoice processing
- Running weekly payments and allocating manual payments
- Answering the phone and talking to customers and suppliers
- Liaising with suppliers on queries and stock issues
- Preparing regular reports and reconciling staff expenses
- Production of detailed financial statements each month
- Wages entry and payment (5 staff)
- Any other finance and administrative functions to include:
- Answering the phone and taking messages.
- Dealing with callers at reception.
- Taking customer orders over the phone and in person
- Typing up quotations and guidelines on pricing.
- Updating customer account information.
