Excellent career-starting opportunity with full study support!We’re currently working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Tipperary that is seeking to hire a Trainee Accountant to join their expanding team.This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career finance professional who is eager to build a career in accountancy within a supportive practice environment.The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation, while also benefiting from structured training and full study support toward a professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA).Working alongside a qualified accountant, you will be exposed to a diverse client portfolio and gain valuable insight into the operations of a busy accountancy practice.Duties will include:

Assisting with bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with deadlines
Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
Liaising with clients to ensure accurate and timely information
Assisting with ad hoc reporting and analysis

Ideal Candidate:

Desirably a third-level degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Keen to pursue a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.)
Previous experience in an accountancy practice is an advantage, but not essential
Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
