- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Coordinate with various teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Participate in regular project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions
- Setting Out and Surveying:
- Conduct precise setting out of construction works using advanced surveying equipment and techniques
- Perform regular site surveys to ensure accuracy of construction activities
- Interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications on-site
- Verify and maintain survey control points throughout the project duration
- Site Supervision and Quality Control:
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards
- Monitor and evaluate the work of contractors and subcontractors
- Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work to identify and address any quality issues
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site
- Technical Support and Problem-Solving:
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team
- Analyse and resolve complex engineering problems that arise during construction
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and quality
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings
- Document any changes or variations from the original project plans
- Generate and submit regular progress reports to project management
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Resource Management:
- Monitor and optimise the use of materials, equipment, and labour on-site
- Assist in the procurement of necessary materials and equipment
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential resource constraints
- Ensure efficient allocation and utilisation of resources throughout the project lifecycle
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required
- Represent the company in meetings with external stakeholders
- Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by project stakeholders
- Maintain positive relationships with all parties involved in the project
