- Manage centralised PTP team, ensure team members deliver performance that meets or exceeds the required performance levels
- Lead mentor and develop the PTP team fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transformation and accountability including engagement with any relevant 3rd party Finance teams
- Enable accurate accounting and service delivery within the tower, with highest level of quality, ensuring compliance, approval verification and support quality control reviews.
- Key member of GES governance to ensure service delivery and SLAs for the tower.
- Facilitate timely issue resolution, including escalation in accordance with the governance structure
- Key point of contact for any internal team escalations, own relationship with GPN & GN and others
- Ensure all payments related accounting, payment policies and tower controls are implemented
- Monitor cash impacts and payments
- Timely monitoring and management of reporting of all KPIs specific to the tower
- Own and lead transformation changes within the PTP tower, support ad hoc projects/continuous improvement e.g. integrations and UAT.
- Evaluate and recommend and implement improvements to existing PTP processes and practices to ensure best in class performance. Foster a similar mindset in the P2P team.
- Foster communication and teamwork within and across organisational boundaries, actively manage P2P team to build a high performing global team.
- Support, and lead P2P improvement initiatives in tandem with the GES Finance Lead to drive operational efficiencies and improved controls
- Facilitate periodic Internal / external audits and queries from Glanbia IA, Quality Control team
- Set PTP MDM policy in conjunction with BUs and MDM teams
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (business, finance, accounting) or a Professional Accounting qualification.
- 7-10 years relevant experience, preferably leading a centralised PTP function in a multinational environment
- Demonstrated experience of managing expectations of a broad senior stakeholder group critical.
- Improvement mindset with demonstrated experience of digital finance tools and transformation in a finance function.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in fluent English, in a clear manner to colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work unsupervised, to work as part of a global team and to take responsibility for the prioritization and completion of tasks
- Strong excel, analytical and SAP skills are a requirement.
