DESCRIPTIONAmazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Trainee Logistics Specialists to join our Data Center team as part of our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP). This is an entry level 12-week work and training program. This role requires travel to sites in North, South and West Dublin.Amazon offers an exciting opportunity to join a creative, dynamic team of Logistics Specialists, dedicated to providing our Customers with a world class Customer Service. Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities
Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations
Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products.

Amazon trainee programs are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks. This position requires trainees to report to work onsite on a daily basis and to travel to sites in North, South and West Dublin. Trainee schedules are typically day schedules, Monday-Friday.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Dublin, D, IRLBASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Leaving certificate or equivalent
18 years or older
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to work 48 hours/week. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
Knowledge of reverse logistics processes
Experience handling vendor relationships desirable
Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems
Reach truck license
Full clean driver's license
