DESCRIPTIONAmazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Trainee Logistics Specialists to join our Data Center team as part of our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP). This is an entry level 12-week work and training program. This role requires travel to sites in North, South and West Dublin.Amazon offers an exciting opportunity to join a creative, dynamic team of Logistics Specialists, dedicated to providing our Customers with a world class Customer Service.   • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
  • This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products.
Amazon trainee programs are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks. This position requires trainees to report to work onsite on a daily basis and to travel to sites in North, South and West Dublin. Trainee schedules are typically day schedules, Monday-Friday.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Dublin, D, IRLBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Leaving certificate or equivalent
  • 18 years or older
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work 48 hours/week. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of reverse logistics processes
  • Experience handling vendor relationships desirable
  • Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems
  • Reach truck license
  • Full clean driver's license
