Our client, a well-established business in the Tullamore area, is seeking a proactive and confident Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a varied role covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office administration. It would suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a practical, hands-on approach.This position will appeal to candidates with experience in a busy office environment, ideally within construction, farming, or similar sectors. Experience with Sage is highly desirable, and candidates who have started but not necessarily completed their IATI studies are welcome to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactionsManaging timesheets and raising purchase orders (POs)Carrying out debt collection activities in a professional mannerReconciling transport fuel cards and preparing bank lodgementsHandling administrative tasks such as taxing/untaxing machinery and ordering stationeryAssisting with ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the officeRequirementsPrevious experience in an accounts administration roleStrong IT skills, ideally with Sage accounting softwarePractical background, ideally within construction, agriculture, or a similar environmentStrong character, able to work independently and take initiativeGood communication skills with a confident, professional mannerAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePermanent role with long-term stabilityOpportunity to work in a varied and hands-on positionSupportive team environment in a well-established businessIf you have the required skills to undertake this role - please apply with Bernadette Sisson for immediate consideration.
