Senior Estimator – Corkc. €90,000-€100,000 + PackageAn excellent opportunity to join a well-established Tier 1 contractor and work on high-profile construction projects across Ireland. Based in Cork, the successful candidate will report to the Estimating Manager and play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of upcoming tenders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and circulate tender documentation across the team
  • Issue subcontractor and material enquiries with clear scopes
  • Monitor and follow up on tender returns, updating enquiry schedules
  • Coordinate tender queries and clarifications
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
  • Analyse subcontractor pricing and prepare clear net cost reports
  • Compile full tender submissions, including BOQs and commercial info
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Technology
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in estimating or similar QS role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Conquest, CostX, Cubit or similar software an advantage
  • Good understanding of modern construction methods and cost drivers
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
