- Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) legislation (HSA, EPA) and maintain ISO 14001 standards, including audits, objectives, and KPI tracking.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and management systems to prevent risks, hazards, and incidents.
- Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and inspections, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are identified and implemented.
- Manage training programs, contractor safety compliance, and communication of EHS standards across the site.
- Support overall EHS strategy by monitoring performance, overseeing permitting systems (e.g., JSA), emergency planning, and reporting to management and corporate teams.
- Experienced EHS professional with a relevant bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in manufacturing, including exposure to injection moulding environments.
- Qualified trainer (QQI Level 6 or equivalent) with strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across departments.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 standards with experience supporting compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiar with engineering projects and New Product Introduction (NPI), contributing to safe and efficient process implementation.
