Stelfox is delighted to be partnering with a U.S Fintech SaaS provider who are looking to hire a remote-based Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer located in Ireland.The company offer a modern wealth management platform across the U.S and are seeing significant growth following their recent round of funding. As part of this growth, the team are looking to hire remote engineers in Ireland to compliment their existing software & Platform engineering teams in the U.S.This is an exciting opportunity, as the founders previously built & sold their last Software product company in the U.S for circa $500 million, and this is now their new Fintech/Technology venture that is already showing significant growth after only 3 years.There is already a few senior software engineers working remotely in Ireland, and now we are looking to hire the first Senior DevOps Engineer to be located in Ireland, to support their platform & production services around their SaaS platform.As a Senior DevOps engineer, you will help cover:
  • Design & manage cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS, however there is some GCP integration), focusing on cloud-native architectures and multi-region configurations.
  • CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalability, performance and cost efficiency for serverless platform
  • Monitoring & Log management - Datadog / New Relic / Logs.io / Splunk etc
  • Automation / IaC - Terraform / AWS CDK
  • Scripting - Python, Bash
  • Deploying software to Github / Code repos
  • AWS Services - Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, AppSync, Route53, VPC and others
  • Experience running and troubleshooting production grade systems/services/platforms that need to be operational 24x7x375
As part of your role, you will:
  • Partner & collaborate with developers to ensure DevOps best practices (automated testing, monitoring and observability)
  • Implement & manage monitoring & Log managmenet solutions
  • Partner & collaborate with security engineering teams for infrastructure security & compliance.
  • Resolve application issues across production & non-production environments.
  • Look for ways to drive Cloud cost optimisation strategies.
Ideally you will have 5-8 years commerical experience in either a DevOps or SRE role, preferably on a SaaS platform or scalable production platforms that requires expertise in SRE principles when managing highly available systems.If this sounds like you, then feel free to reach out for immediate consideration.
